This week, an extra-long edition of Among Women: one part a Christmas story, one part a love story, and one part adoption story shared by two families via an open adoption.

In this Christmas episode, Pat reads O. Henry’s famous Christmas tale, The Gift of the Magi.

Pat’s special guests are “Marie”, and “Mary”. Marie is a birth mother to the child that Mary adopted 14 years ago. Together they tell the special story of “Elizabeth’s” adoption, and how it brought two entire families together, bringing love and joy out of heartache and uncertain circumstances.
