Pat Gohn ~ writer, speaker, & founder of Behold Communications
Pat Gohn is married to Bob and together they have raised three young adults.
Pat holds an MA in Theology and Christian Ministry from Franciscan University of Steubenville, plus certificates in theology of the body and youth ministry. No stranger to writing or public speaking, Pat also has a BS in Communications from St. John’s University in New York. Her favorite subject matter to teach and write about is the Catholic faith and applying it to daily life.
Over the years, Pat has held church staff positions in areas of pastoral ministry and youth ministry. Her founding and nurturing leadership of prayer groups and fellowships for mothers-at-home, married couples, and cancer survivors, has spanned twenty years.
Today, you’ll find Pat in Catholic media with articles in print and and on the internet with regular columns at Catholic Exchange and Catholic Mom, and her blog, “Among Women”
Pat’s latest media projects are two podcasts. “Among Women”, a program for Catholic women, now available on iTunes or at AmongWomenPodcast.com. “Catholic GPS”, a program featuring the Catechism of the Catholic Church is in development.
Pat’s media company, Behold Communications, features her writing, audio production, and voice-over skills for commercial and non-profit organizations.
Together, Pat and Bob have enjoyed travel throughout the USA and Europe with their three children.
In their local church, they are guitarists who play in a music ministry, and hosts to small group studies. They are regular adorers of the Blessed Sacrament.

Answers to: Mom, Mum, Ma, Pat, Patty, Auntie Pat, Mrs. G, and a variety of mispronunciations of Mrs. Gohn. (Incidentally, “Gohn” rhymes with “phone”.)
Family status: I love Bob, my husband. We’re married over 27 years, renewing our vows in Italy back in 2007.
We have three children. Son-daughter-son. 2 in college, 1 in high school.
Pets: A feisty Boston terrier and a fish tank of assorted cichlids. I am an avid bird lover and our yard has multiple feeders.
Born & raised: New York City and the Long Island suburbs. I am the oldest of three sisters.
Current residence: Down a country lane in Massachusetts.

Bordering on TMI: I am a breast cancer survivor since 1996, and have a titanium hip replacement since 2008 due to lifelong dysplasia.
